I really do like a lot of what this tv does. And I got it on sale for 860 so for that price you really can't beat it. But looking back with the knowledge I have now, I probably would have just spent a bit more and gone with a Sony X90J or an LG A1.

I have both the LG 77 CX and the LG 77 A1, and you would be hard-pressed to notice much difference on average content. I use the A1 as a replacement for a projector as I cannot justify a proper 4k $5000 USD projector, and thus use it in a highly light controlled room with dark walls. The image quality is outstanding. Obviously, the gaming features are worth it if that is your thing.

TV has is beautiful, the color the blacks the resolution etc. The problem the reason I have 4 stars instead of 5 is the TV flickers during dark scenes. watch movies on my lg a1 4k oled in normal settings and filmmaker mode - it looks more detailed, even if it isn't in hdr or dolby vision mode.

Have had the LG for a few weeks and so far like the picture and sound just fine. It has all the connections for accessing our network server via wi-fi and fiber to the receiver for sound. Love it!

In my country it lauched at half the price of a C1/CX or B9 (the oldest model available), so hell yeah I went for the A1. In special cases like mine, it's 1000% worth it. And don't listen to people who say OLED is not worth it for cable, cuz it totally is, watching anything on OLED is a whole new experience, you're gonna want to watch more movies on it.

TV has a nice image. Software is good but could be improved. For normal viewing, the refresh rate of the A-Series LG OLEDs is adequate.
