MacBook Air M1, Mac Mini M1 are able to run at 144Hz with LG 38WN95C-W
Update: MacOS Big Sur "11.3" released resolved the "crashing/restarting" issue with this monitor while using Thunderbolt cable. This is great news. Finally it works perfectly now. Apple, please take my money :) All the new Macs with M1 chip can run at full resolution 3840 x 1600 at 144Hz with this m...

The 5 Best 34 Inch + Monitors - Spring 2022
The LG 38WN95C-W is the best ultrawide 38 inch monitor we've tested. Monitors in this size are less common than 34 inch monitors, and they're mainly for productivity. It has lots of office-friendly features, and the large 38 inch screen offers a bunch of space to open multiple windows side-by-side

Best 38" Ultra-Wide for gaming and productivity in Aug 2021?
The 38WN95C is a little bit less bright and less fully featured but is usually a lot cheaper too. For AMD FreeSync only monitors you’ve got the MSI MEG381CQR (144Hz) as well as the Acer XR383CKP and LG 38GN95B (both 160Hz).
LG 38GN950-B vs AW AW3821DW
I think LG has sRGB mode, 38WN95C does so GN should too. AW3821DW is simply the best 38" model, LG 38GL950G has true G-sync but with only HDR400 and loud fan, LG 38GN950G has HDR600 with local dimming but doesn't have real G-sync, while AW3821DW combines the advantages of the two since it has both HDR600 and true G-sync with much quieter fan, inaudible according to reports.
38WN95C-W 114tz - 1ms version
They should disclose that G Syetnc and Free Sync only work if You use Display Port. They do NOT work when connecting through USB Thunderbolt. I Bought this as a 1 cable solution as it does support full rest at 144hz through Thunderbolt plus 96 watts of power, that part is great, bt if you want to al...

Great ultra wide but disappointed with build quality of the panel corners
Pros: - Gaming + Work monitor with Thunderbolt + 144hz and Gsync compatible - Great picture quality Cons: - Noticeable "panel corner peel". It's as if the wrap they put around the panel in the upper right and left corners misses the corners and you can see an edge of metal. For $1,600 I think that i...

Room for one more in the Ultrawide Masterrace?
Finally got my new LG 38WN95C-W set up so thought I'd share it with you fine people. PC is due for an upgrade but holding off until the RTX3000 series are released so I haven't been able to really drive it yet but always good to have something to look forward to I suppose!.
It was cool until the pixels died.
UPDATE 1/19/2022: I returned the first monitor and have had my replacement for about 11 months now. I'm happy to report that there have been no further issues with dead pixels. After almost a year of use, I think I've gotten used to all the quirks with the monitor. I am still extremely annoyed by th...
