Lelit Anna

My main grinder is a Sage (Breville in some parts of the world) Smart Grinder Pro, which has left me impressed on how fine it can get it (I tested with a borrowed La Pavoni Europiccola). I narrow down my choices to 3 machines by Lelit, as they appear to be offering the best value for money:. * I found the Lelit Anna PL41TEM for €450 which seems like a decent price for a machine with a pressure gauge and PID.

There is a sweet deal going on for brand new Lelit Anna + lelit fred grinder. Much much better machine and new.

Only downsides with 57mm system are that it's "harder" to find accessories but I had 2 57mm machines and I never had any issues to find bottomless portafilter nor leveler, tamper and precision basket. I recommend you to go for Lelit Anna 2 / PL41TEM as it has opv and pid already in it and it costs only . I don't really understand why everyone is talking about GCP and Rancilio Silvia and not Lelit Anna 2, I was considering getting GCP but then I found out that Anna 2 exists and that was a no brainer for me. It's cheapest of those 3 machines and it has more functions then those 2.

I’d recommend to check Gaggia Classic Pro or Lelit Anna if it fits the budget (sorry, I’m not from US).

I’ve had the Lelit Anna for 7 years and I’m still happy with it. I rarely do milk drinks though so a dual boiler would be wasted on me.

After all that, the Lelit Anna 2 is amazing, IF you do it right. I did everything wrong in the beginning and i thought it was a bad purchase, but now i really got to love it. It's not as convenient to do cappuchinos as a dualboiler, but for that price and with some knowledge, it is worth every cent.

I'm Australian. got my Lelit Anna PL41TEMD from jetblack espresso and got a eureka mignon manuale grinder from segafredo. great choices. i would go for a Lelit over a Breville. get separate machines

The Lelit Anna is nice but I'm put off by the inferior milk frothing compared with the Bambino?. I've got a Eureka Mignon Specialita on the way by the way. Grind quality for espresso seemed to be as good as the Niche but it's far cheaper...? The extra price is for switching back and forth between brews easily and zero retention and single dosing?.

I personally have the Lelit Anna without PID and I get by pretty easily with temp surfing. I’ve heard great things about the Breville infuser as well. As for grinders you’re right that the Sette and Eureka Mignon line are the most popular and recommended.

I have a nespresso electric heater/frother, a bellman, and a lelit anna. Nothing beats the espresso machine. If I had to choose I'd buy a crappy craigslist espresso machine for 20 bucks.
