I ride a Kona Rove. It's great as I commute all 4 seasons, I've taken it over everything but ice so far and it s awesome.

I got my Kona Rove NRB out on its first true gravel ride. I just had a bike fit and it rode so well! I need to up my hill climbing game but the bike was good :)

You ideally want some hardpoints for bikepacking, which means "the go-to alloy gravel bike" (Canyon Grail AL 6.0) isn't really an option for you.

Cube Nuroad and Kona Rove are also options.

oooh, very nice. i just put a similar wheel and tire combo on my kona rove. i went with the knobbier ultradynamicos and they are great on gravel so far but a bit noisy on the road.

They fit my budget (~1000 CAD) and my needs. However, from where I live the shipping cost for Poseidon Dropbar X is half the price of the bike (~350 USD), making its total cost similar to Kona Rove AL 700 - 1500 CAD after tax. From my gut I'm leaning towards Rove AL 700. It has higher top speed (what I want) and a group set that I'm familiar with.

My current ride is an aluminum Kona Rove that does great for me, even on some local single track trails w/ the 32c tires. For my mountain bike I have a steel frame Honzo more for piece of mind hucking it off of things. The shop I got mine from really put me at ease regarding the frames and had no worries of standing behind their product for my uses; they all rode the same product themselves on group rides.

Kona Rove is a true gravel bike. It handles fine on road but it's got a more comfortable riding position so you can handle semi rough terrain. I like this bike a lot.

If you can find a Kona Rove, that’s a sweet bike for you. They fit 47c tires from factory, nice and wide for a gravel/adventure bike.
