The book is heavy, ditch it or get a lightweight ereader (Kobo Clara is \~160g). You are using gas = you don't need the lighter, just a spark. Get an igniter (MSR Piezo or just tear a piezo lighter and take the 1 g igniter from it).

Good size, not a great reading experience due to screen

Overall the size is great and I appreciate the ease of syncing to a secondary ebook library. The issue is that the screen is okay but the text is very light and sub-part to a Kindle or Paperwhite.

Any ereaders that don't have a slow laggy page turn?

every ereader has some amount of lag to an extent, its just a part of eink displays, however newer ones really dont have any noticeable lag imo. for example the kobo libra 2 and the kobo sage both have nice page turn imo

Good Product Wrong Colour

The kobo mini is great, great size for carrying around and fits into a small handbag. Only downside was I ordered a white kobo and received a black kobo which was quite disappointing.

I still love my Kobo mini since I installed Nicklemenu to give me dropbox access. You can also update it to Kobo Glo software which works better and doesn’t keep hanging. They are so neat and portable that even if you get a newer reader it’s worth keeping the mini for carrying around with you. There’s lots of help with the updates on the r/kobo forum.
