Klipsch Heresy IV

These are amazing speakers. I connected them to a Mcintosh MC275-V and they really came alive. Amazing sound stage, the woofer produces good bass but not enough to overpower the other drivers, just a nice balance. These speakers give you that feeling that you are watching the band live.

You could wear these all day and barely notice. But they are aggressively technical headphones, and if you're looking for this sound they are good value for what they go for second hand.

The red pill for me was diving head first into a Yamaha AS-1200 and a set of Klipsch Heresy IV's and a Klipsch subwoofer. There was something about that pairing that just sounded completely off to me. It was hard to listen to.

The speakers are very clear. Even my tin ears can appreciate the difference.
