What is going on Ikea?! I bought that stool for $78 and now it’s $110

I bought the Uppland couch in 2021 for $450. A few months ago the frame snapped so I called to get a replacement (within the year return window). The lady did NOT know what she was doing (it was a huge ordeal) but told me she would refund me the $450 and I’ll just have to reorder it.

Fits ektorp sofa/chaise like a glove (with a lil room)

This is the perfect fit for the ektorp sofa/chaise. I saw some pics/reviews that it was a bit loose but for me the little bit of extra room around the cushions is great. The original was so tight. I’m already laying on it with my animals so I don’t have a pic but trust me, uppland cover is perfect. ...

I just ordered the Uppland since it actually seems to be in stock and can be delivered to my house. Thanks for the suggestions folks.

Quality Sectional Couch Recommendations

I have the Uppland Ikea sectional and it's actually a lot better quality than you would think from Ikea. I think I paid $800 and it's 3 years old with washable cushions and entire covering. So far it's held up great with 2 young kids.

What adult seating do you have in your toddler's room?

We’ve been using the ikea uppland armchair which I think works in a kid’s room! And the slipcover is washable.

I was looking at ordering the UPPLAND sofa for rather immediate use. However, it delivers the sofa by truck and the cover by parcel. In my experience, parcel can take weeks to arrive. I obviously wouldn't want to be using a couch without a cover, so I was considering purchasing the cover in-store (only having couch delivered bc it wont fit in my car) and returning the one that comes in the mail.

Kivik or Uppland sofa

I have the Uppland and have found it comfortable. I nap on it more than I care to admit. I’m 5’8” and the seat height and depth are perfect for me. I can sit and read or watch tv on it for hours.

I drove back home in hopes of ordering it online as it was getting late and the store was closing, here's where the problems came:. 1. The UPPLAND is out of stock and I have no clue when it'll be back. This is for both the IKEAs in the DC-MD-VA region.

I like the more traditional look and feel of the Uppland, but the one they had in the showroom locally was pretty uncomfortable. The back cushions felt non-existent -- it felt like leaning straight through into springs in the back.
