Uh, though I'm not a huge fan of those controllers. I'll admit, the Vipro 2 doesn't really sound like a great deal compared to every other Vr headset ...

The glare is pretty insane in this headset, I'd definitely say its worse than the Index which I never thought was possible. Resolution/overall clarity is no contest though. The Vive Pro 2 is **crisp. ** It's like not knowing you needed glasses and then putting on a pair for the first time.

HTC has done an incredible job making the headset comfortable enough that I actually want to wear it for longer periods of time. But because HTC isn't interested in a race to the bottom with Facebook, where the true cost of designing and selling a headset doesn't matter, the Vive Pro 2 is considerably more expensive than anything from Oculus or Sony.

Plus, there are rumors an eye tracking module will be released before the end of the year. So I think for my needs, the Vive Pro 2 will be a satisfactory improvement over the Index and it’ll be available in just a week.

Seems to me like my index headset will be up for sale this week and ill be keeping the vive pro 2. Looks great, contract, colors, resolution, clarity are awesome.

The Vive Pro 2, as a worst case scenario, seems to be a healthy middle ground between these headsets. Better resolution than the Index. Better FOV than the G2.
