Meta Quest 2

With my PC plugged to the router via ethernet and the oculus connected to the router in wifi 6, the lag is almost imperceivable. And it definitely doesn't affect gameplay. This makes the Quest 2 a really nice PCVR headset to use. * The battery doesn't bother me, because who plays 2+ hours of straight VR without a break anyway?.

Facebook did not get back to me within the precious time they had set up, i have lost my account of over 12+ years (with ZERO infractions or strikes may i add) therefore, unlinking to my Oculus account and losing EVERYTHING on my Quest 2. Hell, the main home screen won't even load on the headset anymore! I can't link it to my PC as my **PAID** version of Virtual Desktop is lost with my account and, even using the cable, it comes up asking me to log in to Oculus and link my FB account which i no longer have.

Yeah, the resolution might be a bit higher--but trust me--the Quest 2 is still the best, most versatile kit on the market and at a *fraction* of the price of a Vive Pro 2 or Index. And quite frankly, I find the Quest store has consistently better content than 99% of the new VR releases on Steam.

This makes a pretty good headstrap alternative to the origional Elite Strap. I have owned this headstrap for several weeks now and it hasent failed unlike the more exspensive origional headstrap which snaps after about a month of use. # Standalone VR. And finally, we come to the Quest 2's whole selling point: standalone, wireless VR! This pretty much works as expected, but despite running on mobile hardware, it performs and looks quite good! By far, the biggest appeal for wireless VR for me isn't not tripping on a cable (I've never really found that to be an issue), but that no cable means no cable getting kinked up when I turn around too many times!

This is far more comfortable than the official Elite Strap in my opinion, the only thing I don't like is the weight distribution. It's a BIT too light in the back for me, it works fine, I just wish it had a little more weight on the back.
