Buy or Build PC for son interested in video editing and live streaming?
The hp pavilion isn't a good buy, very outdated and underpowered. The Lenovo is much better, more modern and more powerful, and importantly has a decent sized SSD rather than hard drive, this will make the computer much faster just on its own, and you can always add a hard drive for more storage for very cheap(not sure about US prices bit could get a good sized one for £60 in the UK).
Performance questions about HP Pavilion Aero 13.
I have my eye on the HP Pavilion Aero 13, because it is at a spectacular deal right now. The 5600U seems like a great processor, but according to a review by Just Josh on YouTube (the guy seems really legit), the power draw is limited at 15W which prevents it from being used at its full potential. I'll mostly be using Linux, really, but anyway I want to know what the status is with this issue.

* HP Pavilion Aero 13 (1080p 16:10 60Hz, Ryzen 5 5600U, 256 GB SSD, 750€). My order of priority would be performance (stability+temp) > display > battery life > weight > price.

What's the best laptop you can buy for around $1000
1. Acer swift x (best for gaming)
2. Hp pavilion aero 13 (best for productivity and feels premium)
3. Macbook
This is the positioning of the laptops I think are top 3 for under 1000 bucks
Looking for a 16:10 laptop
I'm using HP Aero 13" which is 16:10. It's comfortable for coding and for light gaming too.
Tested game : Valorant, The Sims 4, Verdun
Verdict — Almost An Envy 13
The Pavilion Aero 13 is all about portability, display quality, and processor performance for an affordable price. The huge weight savings alone make it worth considering over last year's model especially for travelers and students.Internally, the system houses AMD's fastest U-series CPU for performance levels outpacing even the most expensive Spectre 13 laptop currently available and, by extension, most other Tiger Lake-U laptops as well
What is a good laptop for drawing for around $300
I mean you can get a laptop that will...run some steam games for that price but it's not gonna be that great tbh. I've got a HP-Pavilion for about $700 and it's run heavily modded minecraft pretty well but that's about my gaming extent lol. Aside from gaming, I've had twitch, Spotify, and an art program going all at once and been alright so 🤷‍♂️.
Gaming laptop for £600-£700?
Check out the HP Pavilion from Microcenter (U.S Only). $699. AMD Ryzen 5600h, GTX 1650, 8GB RAM, 512SSD,144hz display. If you could find a way to get it to you, maybe if you have family traveling, it doesn't seem like a bad option.
Probook 445 G8 Ryzen 5 5600u vs Ryzen 7 5800u.
I have the 5600u Pavilion Aero 13 and its 400 nit 16:10 display is very impressive. Like, I can't believe a $650 laptop has such a great display. Its battery size is the same as the probook and battery life is quite good.
