Lasted 31 hours on one charge

 This is an issue for anyone wanting to use this to read while their bed partner or roommate is asleep. Mind you it's not terrifying loud, but it is a solid click - and you have cycle through from turning it on, through three levels, to get to the off position, so it's numerous clicks.  Other than these two relatively minor issues, this is a great light. The issues I've listed are not deal-breakers, but I thought they were useful observations that might help some shoppers decide between this and another light

Works fine, but with a couple of issues

  The battery life is great, and for the last few months I've been using this, I've had no complaints whatsoever. I definitely recommend, although I have seen some competitors on amazon that sell a two pack for around the same price, which I wish I would have got, as it's good to have a backup in case the one you go to use runs out of battery life. But all in all, it's been a good purchase.

Cozy, warm glow that is comforting in the middle of the night

 Also will be taking the non-working lamp to Best Buy or Home Depot to chuck in their electronics recycling - not a lot of people are aware that they should start doing this too with their old electronics that no longer work (instead of throwing it in the trash and for it to end in landfill).

This light works well, and lasts long enough to read in bed without bothering my wife. The base of the light is a bit bulky and uncomfortable when attached to a book but if you can attach to a headboard it works well. The light charges fast enough to be useful but uses USB -> microUSB for charging and should be updated to USB-C to be compatible with today's chargers.

 The extra weight is slightly noticeable, but not bothersome. (That is, the kindle weighs about 10 ounces, and the light adds 2.5 ounces.) It's a little heavy to read lying down flat with the kindle over my head, but I usually read sitting up or just reclining, not lying flat

5 inch clamp opening, but they're also not too thin to hold the clamp securely.  I was pretty sure I would like and be able to read with the amber light and I was correct. My kindle does have a built in light, but the color of the LEDs is too white to be comfortable for my eyes. There are also possible issues with the blue component of white light, so I have been looking for amber light with very little of the blue wavelength
