The tiny compact light slips between the pages of your favorite book with a thin metal clip, and its small head swivels left and right to shine its light in the direction you choose. Other clip-on lights have larger bases that make clipping them to paperback books awkward. The Dewenwils is slim and light enough to use with all kinds of small to medium-sized books and is portable enough to take wherever you and your book may go. It also has the bonus feature of a built-in USB, so it can be plugged into the closest charging port or computer. This is a very welcome feature in such a small package. 
The 3000K warm white light it emits is a great middle-ground between the bright white and amber found in other models we tested. While it does have three brightness settings, our reviewers found that it did not cover two pages of a medium-sized book as well as other models with its mere max brightness of 20 lumens. It also has the lowest battery capacity of the lights in our testing group, yet still had a run time of 8 hours on its highest setting &#40;possibly due to the low lumen count&#41;. For its small size and excellent portability, we had an overall positive experience using it night after night reading a 400-page paperback novel.

5/10 brightness and off. I put duct tape over it and it brought it down to 6/10 brightness. Your partner is guaranteed to be disturbed by this light.

Okay so I like this product enough to continue using it and not return it, however I wish I would have purchased a different one. The issues I have are not substantial so I will use it until it breaks, but there are some slightly annoying things about it. 1) the light is very yellow and slightly dim. This is a great little light with good battery life. I love the slim, low profile shape of it. My only issue with it is that the lowest setting is a little too bright for me - I was looking for something I could use in bed without keeping my wife up, and this was just a little too bright. Still, this would be excellent for other scenarios, like reading by a campfire or or in the backseat of the car

Cute little light but way too bright even on the lowest setting. Bought so I wouldn’t keep my husband awake while I read in bed but it’s too bright unfortunately

 This was important to me as well - as a lower blue light fraction is better for long term eye health, and sleep as well ( a common issue with the blue light emitted by smart phone etc screens). Plus it is less disturbing to others too.  Next, the design is sleek and paradigm shifting from the typical gooseneck clamp-on book-light designs. The clip to attach to your book is of a low profile, and easily slides onto the back of your hardcover, or just bunch a few of the last pages together in case of a soft cover book

I bought this for my daughter to look at books while she relaxes before she falls asleep. It’s easy to use (she was 3 when I got it for her) you can adjust the light angle slightly. It has a warm yellow hue instead of the bright blue that is typical of LEDs. There is a bright and slightly dimmer setting

Bright (yellow hue) not overwhelming, compact

I lost my first one so I ordered another because I really love this compact little light! It's so handy for use at night so I don't wakeup my husband, great little flashlight so I can go to the bathroom and not trip over anything in the dark, great for off grid camping and reading at night. I don't have to charge the battery very often, maybe every couple months with daily use. It plugs right into my cell phone cube and charges fairly fast. My first light had a loud (annoying) click when you adjusted it but this second one doesn't

 The light output is surprisingly bright considering it's a book light. But it is very handy to navigate around the house when you don't want to flip the lights on or a power outage. Fully charged up they could clip onto a backpack for camping, and they're small enough so they don't take up much room either in the bag or on the nightstand.

I bought this light to read by, but I have also discovered these lights are very handy to have nearby for emergency. Very handy to keep by the bed and grab when needed.
