The flexible gooseneck arms have an LED light on each end and can be adjusted to any angle. Since it doesn't have to be clipped to a book, there is no worry about the heaviness of the unit or any fear of damaging pages. It is not the most portable option, as it is on the large and bulky side, but its versatility makes it something you might not mind taking with you on the go.

The brightness is good. But, the bulk around the back of the neck is uncomfortable if reading in bed. Also, it’s so wide around the back of the neck, I think it might fit a gorilla. This is good if ur flying or sitting up, but not for reading in bed

This product seems cheaply made and arrived broken - one of the "arms" was completely disconnected from the body of the light. Second star only because the remaining arm was attached and did seem bright.

 It was also good for only one thing: reading.  When I got the Glocusent light, it was a life-changer for reading. No fiddling with a clip, even illumination for the whole book, and the beams focus the light in the right direction so I don't disturb my wife when she's sleeping. I use the warm white mode during the day and the yellow mode for nighttime reading

I had one of those clip-on lights before I got this one, and it got the job done. The problem was it didn't provide even illumination for the whole book, and the clip was a pain to deal with. It was also good for only one thing: reading.  When I got the Glocusent light, it was a life-changer for reading

The best reading light I've seen, hands down.

I have trouble believing you could use this without duiturbing your bedmate, but for solo reading, or for those who need extra light even when room lights are on, this light is perfect. I got the up-graded version, and they really did pay attention to the complaints. It's very light weight, has only one on-off switch that operates both lights and I've had no difficulty with it slipping or changing positions. The light is very bright (even on the lowest setting) and has a wide angle

 Oh, and the up-graded model has a 30-minute timer, for people who read before sleep. It's activated merely by pressing and holding the on button. I think this light is as close to perfect as they come. The only negative is that the instructions are written in such tiny type, they're hard to read with a magnifying glass and impossible without one
