Good unit, quiet. Only issues is that the instruction manual was not clear in detailing how to work the unit. Had to chat with company to get it set up but after that it was a great unit. Other issue was delivery was delayed and never arrived when it stated online that it would be deliered.

At first it smelled like it was smoking or burning. Maybe burning off newness. Pamphlet said let it set 24 hours before use. Using now seems to be doing well. Quite. As far if it is working well haven't had chance to test out very long need more time.

In a 350 sq. ft. basement w/stone walls. Keeps humidity level in the 50's. Had hoped for a little better performance, given that it is advertised for 1500 sq. ft., but it is adequate.

This unit has style. It is sleek and quiet. Perfect for a condo or apartment. We haven't had it long enough to tell how it works in the long run, but so far so good.

This functions well. I only wish I'd bought a larger one as it needs to be emptied frequently. If we had a drain in our cellar, there is a hose fitting.

My only complaint is that it is loud. It said that it is very quiet, one of the reasons I bought this one, but it's not.

It works great, however the hose does not come with it. You have to purchase that separate, which I was unaware of.

If you have the option, always pick an appliance that has the energy star rating. I have other dehumidifiers that are not energy star rated and they do not perform as well and efficiently as this one does.
