it is too big of a pain to return, so we'll be trying to sell it locally. We were hoping this would help reduce the humidity in our master bed and bath, however when running it gets very warm, which results in our bedroom heating up significantly, which in Texas is not ideal. We were hoping to return it, but the seller doesn't make it very easy, especially since they didn't double box it when they shipped it, it was boxed simply in the manufacturer's box. Perhaps if you're in a more moderate climate and only using this in a basement or something it would be fine, but the heat it kicks off seems like it would be a pretty big negative for most common uses

I have a 1500 sq ft open concept basement and this dehumidifier has made the difference between comfortable,dry and musty and damp for a very reasonable price. I can understand how a direct to drain hose would make things easier but not essential.

Excellent product. Bought because of other reviews I read. However, the seller overpriced it on me, as I bought it on clearance for around $69 and 3 yr warranty and I was charged $159.99 for the dehumidifier

The noise from the pump is very low but the fan is noisy. Even on low setting is still way too noisy for a bedroom. I usually leave it in the middle of the basement and gets the job done. I would recommend it, as it looks a quality product if you don't need to place it in a bedroom

My only complaint is that it is loud. It said that it is very quiet, one of the reasons I bought this one, but it's not.

Small straight forward unit to operate. And the water collector is easy to remove and dump and put back. We have had several units over the years and cycling out the WC could be problematic. This one is a breeze

The humidity had been in the 70s which caused my piano keys to stick. With this dehumidifier I can keep the humidity under 50% allowing my piano to function perfectly

I bought this in June, 2020, it stopped dehumidifying in October 2020. Apparently, all these dehumidifier last only one season. This is my third dehumidifier in a raw that lasted one season only.

If you have the option, always pick an appliance that has the energy star rating. I have other dehumidifiers that are not energy star rated and they do not perform as well and efficiently as this one does. Fan is quiet, collection bucket is adequately sized,machine is easy to move thanks to the casters. The real test will be in how long this product lasts
