I have not used the hose/pump feature; I simply wait til the bucket fills up, then empty it. Quite annoying that it is supposed to turn off once the humidity level reaches the set point, but it does not. So it basically just runs all the time unless you manually turn it off, or unless the bucket filled up. Otherwise works fine

That pulls moisture out of the air, which collects in a bucket, which you have to empty on a regular basis. This unit has a pump, which allows you to pump it some short distance (~ 16 feet or so). The cooler cools, the pump pumps - what more could you ask for. Well, running a dehumidifier is a lot like plopping down a window AC in the middle of the room at running that (with or without the pump)

Bought this because I babysit my 4 grandchildren ages 8 months-9 years old High moisture In the air Gives way to so much Bacteria Growth and ever since buying This Dehumidifier I noticed they dont Catch colds or get sick as much definitely cleaner easier Breathable air quality...

I have one simple advise for anyone considering this product: save yourself some money and trouble and please don't.

This dehumidifier is a quiet workhorse. after having recently moved to Houston where the humidity is high, I purchased this item to reduce the humidity in my home. The humidity had been in the 70s which caused my piano keys to stick. With this dehumidifier I can keep the humidity under 50% allowing my piano to function perfectly

I did a lot of research before buying this unit. There are cheaper options, but you get what you pay for. I feel this was a good price for the features. Once I got it, I also saw that it is a workhorse

Excellent product. Bought because of other reviews I read. However, the seller overpriced it on me, as I bought it on clearance for around $69 and 3 yr warranty and I was charged $159.99 for the dehumidifier

Metal will begin rusting in days in my shop. Since I got this unit, I have it set at 40% and I would say it probably runs 10 out of 24 hours. We’ll see how the longevity is over time. So far, super happy

If you have the option, always pick an appliance that has the energy star rating. I have other dehumidifiers that are not energy star rated and they do not perform as well and efficiently as this one does. Fan is quiet, collection bucket is adequately sized,machine is easy to move thanks to the casters. The real test will be in how long this product lasts
