Hifiman HE1000SE

So ultimately what I find with this headphone is that it's not really about listening to the music.

More so, that I ended up buying HE1000SE and Atriums. And obviously they sound amazing, so much so that I kept thinking about the prices of the IEMs vs these headphones and I couldnt justify my purchases!. ​. Listening to these headphones was a joy, the musicality is so much better, the music as a whole comes alive but because of my ADHD, I can't sit at one place for long so had to let go off them eventually.

I use several top of the line headphones, and some are even more expensive than this Hifiman He-1000se, and yet I can say that technically and sonically, this is one of the very best I have heard, for the kinds of music I listen to, but I dare say that this would be fantastic with most genres too. Once I stopped trying search for that, the realisation was mind-blowing. The soundstage starts in the centre of your head and extends to infinity, and there's absolutely nothing in the way, really like sitting there in the concert hall with empty earpads. And it is the recorded soundstage, not one rendered by the headphones. The instruments are placed where they were recorded, not projected where the headphones want.
