HiFiMan Arya
The HiFiMan Arya are open-back, planar magnetic headphones designed with fans of neutral sound in mind. They have a very neutral, though slightly bright sound profile and thanks to their open-back design, their soundstage is perceived as wide and spacious. They're also very comfortable and have a great build quality

These SOUND delicious, wonderful and they will take your breath away........
….as will the cost of course! But CAUTION: This review is NOT for the Stealth version (update 1/24/22) but the first iteration that I purchased in 2019. I don not believe they are the same however, I would contact HiFiman directly to ascertain same. All that being said, here is my original review: I...

Five Star (but not recommending)
Returned- due to fitment and style---the sound is not enough to cut it for me. Hat size 71/4... HIFIMAN needs to offer a different headband size as an option for the Arya, if you have a small head you will look crazy with these on! “It takes many good deeds to build a good reputation, and only one b...

Story-driven game series like The Last of Us, The Witcher, Metro 2033 or large-scaled worlds like Skyrim/Fallout, Destiny 2, Kingdom Come Deliverance are a few off the top of my head that come to mind which I'd like to enjoy and really get immersed in. I've seen a lot of people praising both the HD800S and Arya as being THE pinnacle gaming (and for other uses too, of course) headphones.
Focal Clear: One man's first kilobuck headphone.
After extracting one year of enjoyment from my HD6XX and demoing some high end phones at a friend's, I decided that a high end bookend was needed. I had all but decided on a Hifiman Arya when I went to check out my local hifi audio shop.
everytime I read a review or a post that praises one of these particular headphones there is another post or review that slams that headphone. Like reading one min about how the arya is the best shit ever with its incredible height and imagining while the focal clear lacks any musicality. Meanwhile the next post is talking about how the Arya's come off as too thin and muddy while prone to distortion and the focal clear is the best shit ever.

Longtime audiophile and find myself in the last 3 years moving more and more away from my living room setup to quality headphones. I started with closed-ear headphones for work, etc. but certain life changes have made it possible to listen to open-ear headphones without fear of annoying anyone close...

New Headphones Day - Hifiman Arya
I picked up a Hifiman Arya yesterday from my local headphone shop, upgrading from a Sennheiser HD660S. In the lead up to buying the Arya, I brought my HD660S in and demoed it side by side with the Hifiman Ananda, Focal Clear and the Arya, and picked the Arya. The Ananda was pretty close to the Arya, but the Arya was ultimately a bit clearer and smoother.

I recently bought and have been thoroughly enjoying my Hifiman Arya and honestly I am blown away by the difference in sonic performance it reaches compared to anything else I've used. Before the Arya, I almost exclusively used a well driven HD6XX for about 2-3 years and I absolutely loved them...I still love them, they were what I honestly felt was all I ever needed.
