Gravelking Ss

The bike is 2021 Trek Checkpoint SL 6, replaced the stock tires with Panaracer Gravelking SS 700x32mm. West Java, Indonesia.

I love the Gravelking SS’s in 44mm. Roll fast, only issue is the tendency to wash out in a high speed gravel turn - but hey, once you know you adapt :-)

I run Panaracer Gravelking SS on my Obed gravel bike. They a terrific on the road and great on gravel. And since I run the 700c x 43mm I can go up or down on the pressure to suit the ride.

Good and comfortable on light gravel roads. Using them with tubes and no punctures/flats so far. Solid price for a good gravel tire. The 35’s actually look a little bigger/wider than other brand 35’s I’ve used before. Overall very happy with them

GravelKing SS Plus if you’re game to belly up to the Panaracer bar again. I haven’t had any punctures on road or rock. Then again, I’m not riding through fields of broken glass in a city.

One tire fit correctly, other one made it through QC inspection and was clearly off spec. It would not seal up tubeless. I ended up giving the tires to a friend who runs tubes, and replaced them with another brand.

Really depends on what kind of gravel you're riding -- GravelKings have to be one of the most popular as they're fast rolling and grippy enough at some expense of durability/puncture protection. I suppose the Teravails do nicely in rougher stuff due to the more aggressive tread, though I haven't tried them personally. If you're looking to roll quickly but have better off-road cornering (say, if you're worried about loose gravel in the corners), a semi-slick could be a good option. The Specialized Pathfinder Pro and GravelKing SS are some of the faster options, but for something beefier there's also the WTB Byway or Vittoria Terreno Dry (which is what I'm riding on currently -- incredible grip for a semi-slick, plus the center "hex scale" tread actually gives you extra bite under braking).

I am so impressed with these tires. I thought they would be a little slow and stiff, but they are not. I only have 50 miles on them, so I cannot comment on durability. They are fast.
