 When we first took the G44 down to the range I loaded up some CCI mini mags. Shot five rounds had a stovepipe. Then I continued to shoot the five rounds and then continued to shoot over 300 rounds of CCI plus another hundred or so of the Winchester Bulk Blazer Agula Match Federal Match. On Federal Match we did have on the first magazine the slide didn't hold open but it's really underpowered for accuracy

I’ve been thinking about going to a gun range and trying shooting for the first time. Any suggestions for what I should try as a beginner? I’m not too interested in anything big or flashy; I think I’m gonna stick to handguns. Everything I’ve thought of trying is mostly from movies lmao, and I thought I should try something for a better reason.

Finally decided on caliber and visited a few shops! 

Already considered Buckmark and Rugermark but unfortunately i dont like the look of them 🥲 price wise the above are all similar so thats not a factor.

I want something fun to practice on if i want to move up to 9mm, simple to maintain and reliable. I'm leaning a bit more for the classic looking pistols like 1911 and beretta - just not sure.
