Measuring distance accurately on the treadmill
When I end a treadmill session it has the option to "calibrate" the run, which is just you putting the treadmill distance into the watch before saving data. I have a Garmin 935

So glad I got the 935 instead of the Fenix 5...
I first bought the Fenix 5 and 5s but returned them both. I just wasn't turned on by those watches as I had hoped I would. I then bought a Fenix 3. I really liked that watch but after a few days I just couldn't see my self running and biking with that thing. It's heft meant I had to keep that beast ...

The Honda Civic of used watches
The Garmin 935 is the gold standard for triathlon watches. It just works and will continue to work for a long time. A factory refurbished one would be your best bet if you want to keep the price down.

Beware that you may get the APAC (Asian) model of the watch and not the ROW (Rest of World) from this listing. The main downside is that firmware updates (including bug fixes and new features) from Garmin will lag up to 6 months behind the ROW version. Additionally, Garmin may refuse to service your...

Careful of Model.
I had a lot of problems with this watch and called Garmin for support. They confirmed that this watch was the Asian Market Version. Which doesn’t allow for software updates. Thankfully they are going to help me. Make sure this isn’t the Asian Market Version as you’ll be stuck with software and no up...

[SOTC] Two no-dates for any day
If I ever go back to working in the city though, the ultra thin is going to be on my list for sure. And if I had to limit my collection, I honestly think I would choose the same Sub and JLC that you have. And by the way, I also have a Garmin Forerunner 935 that I use for fitness, so pretty much of the same mind.

Corker of a Watch
I have the Garmin 235 watch and it has been a mainstay of mine for training for the last 5 or so years and in all honesty it's a good watch. So why did I get the 935. Realistically my training was getting longer and I needed a 'distance' watch where the battery life would last even if I was wearing ...
