The roller was not damaged but the packaging was in extremely poor condition. (See photos). Also, I did not receive the DVD nor is the roller made of 100% cotton jersey as stated in the description. The roller is very firm and will be perfect for deep tissue release.

The roller didn't come with DVD which was disappointing. Instead of the DVD Gaiam said to look online for the information. I ordered this roller because it came with a DVD. I find I do better when I don't have to look up exercises and can just pop in a DVD.

The only problem with the roller is that it is super firm. My (certified) pilates personal trainer says this is the firmest roller. It is painful for me. I may need to purchase another, softer roller to start.

The product is durable and it’s pretty is not soft so take care when rolling on it because it can hurt
