Available in six colors, the Mini 70 is among the most compact and lightweight instant cameras on the market, and also among the prettiest (in our opinion). The CR2 batteries it uses can be a little annoying to find, but battery life overall is great. And unlike rechargeable instants, the Mini 70 should still have some juice in it even if left on a shelf for several months.
But most importantly, it's really easy to use. Users simply select their shooting mode – normal, macro, selfie, landscape, self timer or high key – and the camera does the rest. And unlike some of its competitors, focus is motor-driven (three positions) and set by the camera when your mode is selected. Exposure is fully automatic, though there is a +2/3rd EV option (that's the high key mode). Overall, the Mini 70 does a good job balancing flash with ambient light thanks to a variable shutter.
Of course, for a little more cash, you can drive away in the Instax Mini 90, which adds negative exposure compensation, the ability to disengage the flash in normal mode and a bunch of creative modes. However, its higher price and its more complex operation has us feeling you'd be better off spending that extra money on more film for your Mini 70.

 There's modes for macro, landscape force, flash mode, and a mode called high key that slows down the shutter speed in order to brighten up the image now. I Really like the versatility that the camera offers Now, it's obviously not as powerful as having a man, but it is nice to be able to adjust the camera settings as it allows for more creative and higher quality images. The timer allows you to set up a delay before the shutter is released, and there's a cool option that will take two pictures in case you're shooting with friends and you want to have another copy to give away. The selfie mode will adjust the focal length of the lens, allowing for proper selfie framing

 The first thing you'll probably notice is the retractable lens. It has two components and two elements and you'll see sensors on the front of the lens itself that actually meters for exposure. The shutter speed is automatically adjusted between 1/2 second to 1/4 hundredths of a second after determining the lighting conditions the picture is being taken in. Now on the upper left, you have the built-in flash that works in conjunction with the sensors in the lens which will automatically detect whether or not you need the flash or not

 Now, this is actually a pretty sophisticated feature as the Instax 8 always made you use the flash and had a locked shutter speed. Now this should make for images with better color rendition ranged, not washed out images that are constantly overexposed. There's a small window right next to the flash for the viewfinder and the shutter release button right below that. There's also a small polish selfie mirror right next to the lens that helps you properly frame the shot when you're taking a selfie

 The Instax also comes with film for ten photos. So the first mode I'm going to go over is its selfie mode. It has a little mirror here right by the lens so you can easily look at yourself when you're taking a photo. The next feature that it has is macro mode

 So one cool feature that it has is automatic exposure control. So what it does is it will take a picture of you with yourself and the background properly exposed. So I know sometimes when you take photos with the flash it looks like it's just you and you're in a black background. Not in this case

 Do you have shaky hands? Well, that's no problem with the Instax Mini 70. It actually has a feature here to add it on to a tripod which goes into the next feature which is timer mode. So you can actually do one or two photos in a row with timer mode and it's just a great way if you want to make a copy for yourself and for your friend. One thing I love about the Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 is it's compact and portable size

 It has a little mirror here right by the lens so you can easily look at yourself when you're taking a photo. The next feature that it has is macro mode. So macro mode is for close-up photos like portraits or really detailed shots like the flowers beside me. Opposite of macro mode is landscape mode so it gives you a wider angle view so you can get more background into the photos
