 There's modes for macro, landscape force, flash mode, and a mode called high key that slows down the shutter speed in order to brighten up the image now. I Really like the versatility that the camera offers Now, it's obviously not as powerful as having a man, but it is nice to be able to adjust the camera settings as it allows for more creative and higher quality images. The timer allows you to set up a delay before the shutter is released, and there's a cool option that will take two pictures in case you're shooting with friends and you want to have another copy to give away. The selfie mode will adjust the focal length of the lens, allowing for proper selfie framing

 The first thing you'll probably notice is the retractable lens. It has two components and two elements and you'll see sensors on the front of the lens itself that actually meters for exposure. The shutter speed is automatically adjusted between 1/2 second to 1/4 hundredths of a second after determining the lighting conditions the picture is being taken in. Now on the upper left, you have the built-in flash that works in conjunction with the sensors in the lens which will automatically detect whether or not you need the flash or not

 Now, this is actually a pretty sophisticated feature as the Instax 8 always made you use the flash and had a locked shutter speed. Now this should make for images with better color rendition ranged, not washed out images that are constantly overexposed. There's a small window right next to the flash for the viewfinder and the shutter release button right below that. There's also a small polish selfie mirror right next to the lens that helps you properly frame the shot when you're taking a selfie

Ok let me start by saying the picture quality is amazing and has that vintage feel that I was looking for. I absolutely adore this camera and bought a little patent leather case for it to complete the set. I did not buy the bundle, only the camera, and purchased a set of 100 exposures for like $90. This is expensive but memories are worth every penny, there’s something about the nostalgia and fun my family and I have with this camera

 But it's enjoyed a drop in street price since we looked at it last year&mdash;it's a more appealing choice at $200 than it was at $280. If you want the flexibility of applying digital filters and only printing images you want to print, give it a look.

Whether or not the Fujifilm Instax Square SQ6 is the right instant camera for you depends on your wants, needs, and budget. I see it as a good option for lovers of the square look who are more interested in capturing the moment and memories. Absolutely thrilled with this decision! Bought a few weeks ago in anticipation of my boyfriend’s birthday next month and also because I just wanted a fun way to make some instant memories and this was just the thing I needed.  After comparing several instant cameras, I came to the decision that the Square 6 was the perfect blend of accessibility and vintage charm. As pictured, there are a variety of photo settings that are designed to be simple enough to choose from and use without having to engineer your own exposure or focus and it feels so simple a child could use it which I love. The shutter button is on the front of the camera about an inch and a half under the viewfinder which has a small circle chiseled into the glass so you can center your subject instead of estimating, a very elegant solution to the viewfinder being in the far corner of the device so you don’t have to struggle to frame the shots

Color is definitely more pink in person than in the image shown in my opinion (I was a bit skeptical on that) but overall I’m super happy with this Polaroid camera! I love the square Polaroids much better than the regular film, and I’ve only had this camera for about a month but so far I’m completely more than satisfied with it. Definitely happy that to have purchased!

Looking for a cheaper alternative to shooting with my Polaroid on 600 film, I started looking at Instax cameras. My initial purchase was an Instax Mini 40. After some additional research, I ended up returning that and getting this one instead for a few reasons. Firstly, this one is a lot sturdier and feels better built

 It's a good bridge between the cheaper Instax cameras and something more expensive and with better features like a Lomo.

 Instax film doesn't have quite as much of that "retro" film look as the Polaroid film does, but it's not necessarily a bad thing. The SQ6 is a great camera for people out on the go who want to take instant film, and it has the added benefit of being much cheaper per shot than Polaroid film. It's a good bridge between the cheaper Instax cameras and something more expensive and with better features like a Lomo.

This is my recommendation for instant film cameras

  Honestly, I feel it's a little overpriced - considering the image quality is comparable to the Instax 9. The photo paper also tends to run a few dollars more as well - just something to keep in mind before you buy.  Ultimately, I did not buy this camera for the photo quality. I bought this camera to have fun with my friends and rely less on getting the always-perfect shot with our cell phones
