I set the lamp to eco mode and lowered the brightness from 50 to about 45 where it started to lose detail, but nothing really did enough to help it. A few other problems also soured the experience, though they could probably have been dealt with if black levels were fine. Most annoying being that that the projector kept losing signal during transitions (menu>loading screen>video), and often not regaining it without stopping and restarting. I assume probably signal confusion from me running it through my old Denon AVR-2310.

Problems, but outstanding support

I liked this projector, but it died after just 3 years. I orignally gave this product a 1 star as a result. But I am revising to 4 stars because I called Epson customer support and they were excellent and made this situation right.

The floor is indoor/outdoor carpet and the walls are mostly drywall but one of the walls that runs 30ft is painted cinderblock. Currently, I have an Epson 2150 connected to random LG soundbar + sub. Mostly using Roku ultra for content. The projector displays directly onto the grey painted 15ft wall, but the image projected is about 8 ft across centered on that wall.
