This is a decent little reading Light. The bulb is bright enough to illuminate the words but not so bright that it wakes up a sleeping spouse. The bendy part is where my review turns south. It didn't have the strength to stay positioned the way I wanted it to

I've been looking for a book light for quite a while and this is exactly what I've been looking for! It's the cheapest too! I read myself to sleep, but my husband can't sleep with my lamp on. So problem solved! It's made of plastic and the clip is gentle which is great so it doesn't damage any book (especially paperbound ones) or any material you clip it too. It's very light and portable and the light it emits is perfect. Just right

If you want a compact, lightweight reading light, this is a good bet. The light is nice and bright and illuminates my book well. The drawbacks are that it is a blue book light, not a yellow one (for those who have trouble falling asleep, this could be a consideration), and that the clip is small. It's good for being compact, but doesn't allow you to grip more than the cover and a few pages

The light itself has a wide beam dispersal of soft light that covers both pages well and is acceptable for bedtime reading. My only issue with this light is the narrow clip which causes the light to wobble a bit on the book, this may not be an issue with hardcover but with paperbacks it can be a mild annoyance.
