Getting better all the time...
I wrote a review when I first got these, but four months later the newness hasn't worn off. I added an SE8 subwoofer for the lower octave (which makes Bach organ music sound fabulous), but the accuracy of the high and mid-range of the B1+'s is always a joy. I listen to things I haven't heard for a w...

Just a touch bright, but I like mine. **$201 to $300**. Kanto YUPassive 5.25 - $240 - At only $40 more than the 4", well worth the increased price. Emotiva Airmotiv B1+ - $299 - more speaker inflation (used to be $249).
Emotiva Airmotiv B1 review: Audiophile sound for a popcorn price
Final thoughtsThe Emotiva Airmotiv B1 is an overachiever -- it will serve with distinction as stereo speakers, as well as front main and surround speakers in Emotiva home theaters.

Airmotiv B1+ Bookshelf Speaker Full Review
Now, let's talk sound quality and I have to give vb1 plus a 4 out of 5 emo Teva has done a great job tuning the highs and mid range, and these speakers you get really nice clarity and in the mid-range it's nice smooth responds, and it also Is just a touch below neutral? It's just a little bit warm, which is nice when I was watching movies or listening to music vocals were nice and clear, I didn't have any issues, understanding dialect or anything like that. Now, the stereo imaging with this pair is really good.

Is KEF Q150 is the most popular speaker under $500
They don’t have much low bass extension (significantly less than the larger Q350). If you are considering those and you’re in the US, I would also advise that you consider the Emotiva B1+, the Q’s you mentioned, the Elac B5.2, the PSB Alpha P5, the Jamo C93 II, and the Wharfedale Diamond 225 (while they’re still available) as options.
Great sounding speakers, with quality control issues.
Just received my new pair Airmotiv B1+ and I must say that they sound amazing. My only problem are two small imperfections to the finish on both speakers. Excessive paint bumps on both speaker (gives the impression that the speakers were not allowed to dry properly and placed in the box while the fi...

Jamo 5.1?
Emotiva B1+ ($250), Emotiva C1+ ($250), Neumi BS5 ($100), Monoprice 12" sub ($120). Or you could start with 3.1 and a slightly better sub that you'll still want to replace when you move to a new place:.
They remind me of my old AMT1 speakers
Back in the day and when they first hit the east coast I bought a pair of AMT1 speakers with 10" woofers and the large HEIL AMT. They sounded great but were very power hungry and extremely sensitive to clipping. These remind me of that great "sound as clear as light" of the original AMT speakers wit...

Emotiva Airmotiv B1+ & SE8 Flex Subwoofer Review!! (2020 Version! $528 combo of excellence!)
You can get better when you get into like the super, affordable territory. Every couple hundred bucks does get you more bang for your buck right and I'll talk about that more in the other video I do where I'm gon na compare 3 8 inch subwoofers with each other that are 300, 400 and 500 dollars each the system as a Whole was just incredibly enjoyable, it really was. I mean these speakers with this sub was at five hundred and thirty dollars or five hundred and twenty-eight dollars

Finally upgraded to passive
Finally upgraded from a pair of Edifier 1700BT to a set of Emotiva B1+ with an Aiyima A07. I loved the Edifiers but these are noticeably more detailed and have a much wider soundstage.
