Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail Nano

For me it would have to be the rainbow machine. Whenever I play it i can find new stuff I like. It's very fun to experiment with. And favorite practical pedal would be my ehx holy grail max cus of the awsome reverse reverb mode.

For nice cheap reverb I think EHX Holy Grail is really high value. Moving into mid-priced multi-algo options RV-6 and Oceans 11 get the job done in my limited experience. I haven't used the Neunaber Immerse but it looks to be a great option. Robert Keeley has LOTS of different mid-priced reverb pedals and of the ones I've used the algorithms sound very very convincing.

I really like the sound I get when I put the spring setting on my Holy Grail Max with the Afterneath, but if I could only have one pedal it would be the HOF2

Holy grail Max, just so you can put it before the rat. It's sound awesome when you have the reverse setting on the holy grail. Reverse reverb is a must for a shoegaze tone.

It's not "high end" on the price tag, but the EHX Holy Grail (Max or Plus models) have my favorite spring reverb sound, and killer plate and hall sounds as well.

This is a simple but great sounding reverb. Just Spring, Hall and a combination of flanger and reverb they call Flerb. I'm sure there are people who can make use of the Flerb - I'm not one of them. The Spring and Hall sound as good and as organic as any reverb pedals I've tried - admittedly not that...

This pedal sounds really nice -- particularly the spring reverb. For me, however, there is one HUGE drawback: it can't run off a battery!! And if you believe the instructions, it can't be run off any other 9V converter than the one they give you. Which means that I can't hook it up to my pedalboard....

I had a last day unreturnable credit with GC and I needed a reverb pedal, but I didnt have time to try them out. What ever I got, I was stuck with good or bad. I read the reviews here and went with it. Turns out the reviews are ALL CORRECT. It sound flawless, regular reverb to surf reverb. Sounds PE...
