 Sometimes you know, you're kicking around pedals, you get a little aggressive with it. This allows you to protect your settings. One last thing I'm going to mention is that this is a stereo pedal. A lot of times you see demos of reverb pedals and it's a mono signal

 It's a reverb pedal modeled after different Lexicon reverbs, which if you don't know, is standard studio units, really, really great sounds from them, and Digitech did a great job modeling them. It's kind of an update from the Hardwire series that they put out a few years ago, and the Hardwire Reverb is, for the money, one of my favorite reverb pedals, had it on my board for a long time. There are four knobs. Level controls the amount of reverb that you're getting

 You have the knob selector over here, which, you know, goes through all of the different functions. Spring, Hall, a couple different kind of standard things, and then there's the more experimental stuff. There's a modulated function, a halo function. My favorite setting on this pedal is definitely the reverse function, which you heard at the beginning of the video when Nate stopped by when we played that Beatles tune

You can really get some cool experimental tones with this decay knob, which kind of sets the time at which the reverse will start and stop, and a liveliness knob, which kind of acts like a low pass, so you can kind of dial back the highs on the reverb specifically. There's also a tails on, tails off switch, so when you disengage the pedal and the tails are on, the reverb will continue over even though the reverb is off

The big problem for me was that you need to manually adjust the knobs to get each sound, as the pedal cannot save presets, meaning its utility was reduced for live settings. I also have a Digitech Polara, which is an awesome pedal for traditional reverbs, but it's no longer as cheap on the used market it as it once was.

 What I've done is dialed the decay back and the liveness back so it's a little smaller, a little darker room sound. So here's what it sounds like clean. And here it is with a little bit of gain on it. So the cool thing about that, even going to turn up the liveness a little bit and the decay, so you can hear how it kind of really affects the overall tone, same EQ settings on the distortion

This series 3 pedal dose not even appear to have tap tempo, which at this price is just unacceptable in my opinion. Reverb? A digitech polara goes for around £80-100 used.

 I haven't used the Neunaber Immerse but it looks to be a great option. Robert Keeley has LOTS of different mid-priced reverb pedals and of the ones I've used the algorithms sound very very convincing.

For nice cheap reverb I think EHX Holy Grail is really high value. Moving into mid-priced multi-algo options RV-6 and Oceans 11 get the job done in my limited experience. I haven't used the Neunaber Immerse but it looks to be a great option. Robert Keeley has LOTS of different mid-priced reverb pedals and of the ones I've used the algorithms sound very very convincing

I’m looking to get a decent reverb. I play mainly blues but I also like to jam with a looper and create some nice atmospheres to work over. 

The Strymon really looks interesting but I’m not clear on what it’s nearly twice the price of a lot of other popular reverbs like the HOF 2?

Any user experience would be great to hear and also if there are recommendations for a really decent reverb. Budget up to the Strymon level is fine but if there is something out there for the £100-£200 mark that would be great!
