Okay so let's go through some of the reverbs, firstly the patch is called hole reverb which is a little bit misleading but we're actually on a room reverb with five seconds of decay.

 The RV-500 is sub £400 pedal which is amazing it means it's coming in more affordable than some of its competitors which is really impressive. So if you're in the market for a new reverb pedal I definitely recommend checking out the RV-500 I think you'll be massively impressed especially if you want high fidelity customisable stereo reverbs.  It's got the most insane routing capabilities, so although this is a stereo pedal, you can run in two effects loops, the cool thing is that you can actually route one reverb to one effects loop, and a completely different reverb to another. On top of the delay that you can blend in with these reverbs, you've got the most insane control of any stereo reverb pedal on the market. It's a 96k 32-bit processor in there, so that's twice as powerful as I think anything else that's currently available. It's fully MIDI programmable, you can hook this up with any kind of MIDI controller, also it has USB so you can use the librarian editor and backup all your patches and customise them on your computer for Mac or Windows

 Sound is so subjective, but there are plenty of high quality videos with sound samples for you to hear. I’ll share some thoughts below, but use your ears.  Flexibility: 5/5. The “ASSIGN” functions are a hidden gem here

 All this in a REVERB pedal that doesn’t break the bank.  Now will this replace your delay pedal? I have to say it depends. I lurked and participated in a host of forums with posters indicating that the delays are insufficient to replace their unique modulated delays of choice, but we don’t all rely on those. I say it boils down to how much you rely on delay, and what flavor of delay you rely on

 Good software editor. Good control of EQ per preset. Buffered or True Bypass mode is appreciated. I turned that buffer right off as there was already too much buffering in my chain

Boss RV-500 Reverb

 Let's get fancy now and add some delay and of course some delay. I've got a BOSS DD-500 set up here with the dual delay option set to about 1200 milliseconds 1.2 seconds. Here's what the reverb and the delay sound like together

 So, if it's in momentary mode, the effect that we're going to be looking at is only active when you are pressing the switch down. Let off the switch, the effect goes away. If you've got it set to on-off, then you can hit the switch, the effect engages, and it will stay engaged until you turn it off. And then finally, what we're doing with this particular set of sounds is we're actually capturing a slice of the reverb tail, and that third option allows you to determine how long of a slice you'd like to capture, 0 to 100

 Assigning functions to the tap control switch is really easy. Just dial up any preset you wish, go into edit mode, and then select the control menu option from that top level menu. The first thing you'll see is tap slash CTL, and there are several assignable functions from that particular option. And then below that is a mode option, and this allows you to flip between momentary and on-off

 I'm going to play a low B and create a drone. Yeah, that's nice. So RV-500 drone in the box. Pretty cool

For me it would have to be the rainbow machine. Whenever I play it i can find new stuff I like. It's very fun to experiment with. And favorite practical pedal would be my ehx holy grail max cus of the awsome reverse reverb mode

 I haven't used the Neunaber Immerse but it looks to be a great option. Robert Keeley has LOTS of different mid-priced reverb pedals and of the ones I've used the algorithms sound very very convincing.

For nice cheap reverb I think EHX Holy Grail is really high value. Moving into mid-priced multi-algo options RV-6 and Oceans 11 get the job done in my limited experience. I haven't used the Neunaber Immerse but it looks to be a great option. Robert Keeley has LOTS of different mid-priced reverb pedals and of the ones I've used the algorithms sound very very convincing

Any user experience would be great to hear and also if there are recommendations for a really decent reverb. Budget up to the Strymon level is fine but if there is something out there for the £100-£200 mark that would be great!
