Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo T8 AIVI Review
The Ecovacs Deebot Ozmo T8 AIVI is a unique robot: part vacuum, part mop, part home monitoring device. It boasts advanced mapping and navigation features that allow it to successfully detect and avoid many obstacles other floor-cleaning robots would get stuck on. And from its companion app, you can move the robot around and view a live video stream of what’s happening inside your home

For anyone considering a S7
Agree - coming from an ECOVACS T8 AIVI - it is much better - but I don't agree with the "quiet " piece - it is a bit loud IMO :) (at least compared to ECOVACS)
MUCH better than I thought with a few minor issues.
Tried to do research on vacuum/mop robots but they're mostly tied in categories. So I picked my criteria of good mapping, good obstacle management, and good mopping. That narrowed it down to just two for me and I just picked the T8. I chose not to get the T8 AIVI with the camera as I don't care to h...

From what I read, The Deebot T8 is a pretty good robot and has options to purchase a self emptying bin later (I'm not really interested in this yet though) or a vibrating mop attachment (which sounds awesome for improved moping, but I've read mixed reviews). It is $715 on amazon Canada. The last option is the 360 S9, and this one seems like a very good option, there aren't as many reviews for this unit but it seems to compare very well with the RoboRock S5 Max (great navigation, app, and decent mopping), but at a cheaper price, since it costs $580 on Amazon Canada (after adding import fees and applying coupon).
S7 (MaxV) Questions About Dog Hair/Bin Size
Yes, its really good with that - much better than the normal brush rolls with bristles. I tried the Ecovacs T8+ before and that one i needed to clean every 2 days with my 2 long haired cats. Sometimes you need to remove the hair on the ends - also on the little spinning bristle. But thats fast and easy - much less maintanance than other robot vaccuums.
Thinking of purchasing a i7+. I've had the Ecovacs T8 for 4 months now and it is absolute trash with iOS (Mapping Issues) so I'm taking it back for a refund. I've spoke with customer service and they are no help at all and have basically said take it back for a refund because they can't help with the issue.
Help me choose a robot vaccum

Looking for advice on first robo vacuum
Overall I’m very happy with the Deebot T8+. I bought three on sale at Best Buy $600 and only have some small concerns. One being the auto empty base may have trouble with longer hair that clumps in the bin. It wasn’t able to clear it effectively because it doesn’t un-clump in the bin to be sucked out.

Roborock S7 with a vibrating/rising mopping pad and self empty bin support just appeared on the official website
The rising option is a game changer, with my ecovacs deebot t8 I have to choose between mopping and carpet cleaning, unfortunately it is suitable for low-pile carpets no higher than 4mm.... Not my case.
Ecovacs Auto Empty Station For Deebot T8 AIVI Robot Vacuum REVIEW
Is that they're really good with filtration? So you don't have to buy filters for the bin and it's a much cleaner way to dispose of the debris. All in all, i love my t8 ai vi, robot vacuum and will continue to use it in my house until something better comes along, but now with the addition of the auto empty bin.
