You should put all your money into the newer line of tools. Doesn't have to be DeWalt but you will need lithium batteries.

Bought this drill for the lighter weight, to use in my indoor hobby shop. There are lighter drills out there, but none match the power this drill delivers. I've been using Dewalt for years, they work great. All three of these brands are very similar, some are better in some areas, but overall you will do totally fine with either 3.
