I'm never going back to AIO

Same here after my Corsair H100i started failing at one year. Got a Noctua NH-D15 and not only is it outperforming the Corsair, it is much quieter.

Works very well. I initially underestimated how quiet it would be. I had a Corsair H100i before this; while that had fine temps, the noise was a bit bothersome, especially when fan curve settings wouldn’t work as I set. This cooler has great thermals on my 9900k.

Updated: First one had broken pump, second one the fans RGBs dont work

Simply put, it doesn't work. Triple checked the double check, all cables connected properly, seated on amd properly and it doesn't light up and it doesn't keep the machine cool. Cpu is overheating in less than a minute. Updated: Second one came in. The pump works but the RGB lights on the fans dont....

be quiet! Pure Base 500DX quietness

I run it with 2 intake fans in the front, 2 fans on the top that blow outwards trough my radiator and one additional fan in the back blowing out. It's quiet enough for my taste, only noisy when the GPU is under load and thats when im gaming so the audio from the game will easily drown out any fannoise. I am very satisfied with this config.

Fans were all good so assumed the pump on the cooler. Replaced with the Corsair H100i, so much win and cool. Not to mention the thermal paste was all over the place on the old one...gobs of it. Cleaned it good, made sure 12v in bios for the cooler and with load it sits at about 40-42C.

Worth the Money

Idle temps were 45C-50C and while running it was around 67C . I also had a Corsair H100i laying around from the previous build but it lacked the AM4 bracket. So I ordered the bracket for 5EU and switched to water cooler and now temps are 28C-35C while idling and max 48C almost at the end of a heavy gaming session for 9 hours while streaming.
