Cooler Master IS-60 ARGB

It never throttles while gaming. Cinebench score: 14650. The IS-60 w/ a 25mm fan is around 75mm tall, which fits perfectly in this case. I don't hear any turbulence, and its practically inaudible while wearing my headphones.

It was a decent product, but the noise level was fairly high. Replaced with a tower cooler and instantly improved volume. Would only recommend if space is very limited and water cooling was not an option.

Alternatively, the IS-60 is slightly better still than the IS-50x, and comes in at 57mm (it's 55mm officially but the fan screws make it 57mm so the fan doesn't scrape when the blade lifts) but uses the same low quality fan, so I'd replace the fan. But the cooler itself is even better, but I had the IS-50x on hand when I was putting it together so I used that.

It's a crap cooler to be honest. Something went wrong with the heat pipes, it wasn't welded properly or something, because the slightly taller variant, IS-50 Max (with direct copper heatpipes) and the IS-60 Evo works relatively well compared to IS-47K. Might want to find another cooler.

I have an IS-60 EVO and I really like this mod. I’m going to give it a try with a 70x70x14mm copper heatsink, but won’t be able to report back for another week or so.

This is well made product and has some good performance reviews online. I am not going to judge performance due to my shotty install. For that, I'm afraid that you have to settle for L9x65 for the best compatibility.

I was recommended this cooler by an employee at Microcenter even though they didn't carry it. I did swap the fans for noctua fans, but I didn't have to.
