**Convoy Z1** with Osram W2. Yup, a zoomie. This thing throws around 900m and on flood the even beam is great for cycling. If I'm only allowed a few lights then this one doubles up as throw and flood.

**Convoy Z1 W2**. This thing has about 900m throw and also works well up close, thanks to being a zoomie. The aspheric means there's no hotspot at all - it's all spill like a long distance mule. Great for cycling on roads too.

The Convoy Z1 might tickle you fancy. Its the only real zoomie that we recommend. Comes in at a decent price.

Look for lights that use aspheric lenses. Many cheap zoomies have that and I don’t recommend them, but the Convoy Z1 is a great zoomie.

Convoy Z1, best zoomie on the market. Or get a dual channel Hanklight, Wurkkos HD20, Wurkkos TS32, etc. with a floody and throwy channel.

-Convoy Z1 with 5000k 519A to try out "the only good zoomie" and a slightly more natural 5000k CCT. Once my next lights arrive I will probably start looking for my next next flashlight fix. So far I've only been looking at value oriented brands, Convoy, Sofirn, Lumintop, Wurkkos, Pionemann, Eagtac, Wildtrail from Aliexpress.

If you are set on getting a zoomie buy the Convoy Z1 instead. Otherwise look at Sofirn or Lumintop if you want to buy from Amazon.

Past lights include a Fenix P35, "Everbeam" 18650 light, Convoy S2+ and Z1. Great, "walkable" spill despite the focused spot. Pocketable in a jacket or cargo pockets, even my jeans pocket in a pinch.
