So in my opinion, this is one of the highest value mattresses you can find online.

Because no one bed will be universally comfortable to everyone, it's actually a good thing that they've slightly modified their signature style to be able to meet more people's needs. Not to mention that their pricing is super reasonable for the quality you get --- you pay the same prices (or even substantially higher) for the "name brand" beds that have the exact same design, but with substantially lower quality materials. 4) If you're curious to see another example of this from Brooklyn Bedding, you can check out their even more budget line of mattresses: [Dream Foam Beddding](https://dreamfoambedding.com/) which all use much lower quality materials and priced less accordingly. While it is definitely not inexpensive, it is much cheaper than some of the comparable luxury mattresses like Tempurpedic. I am extremely happy with my Brooklyn Bedding mattress. I even bought 2 sets of sheets, 2 latex pillows, and 2 of their luxury cooling pillows. The pillows are nice.

I do think that the [Brooklyn Signature is a better quality mattress in a lower price range -- but it's also quite different in that it uses a spring base rather a foam base. Brooklyn Bedding also has a couple of [budget all-foam options](https://dreamfoambedding.com/) that I think are probably of comparable quality to Tuft and Needle and Casper, but also at substantially lower prices.

I've lurked this sub and MU during my quest for a new mattress so I just wanted to share my experience with the Brooklyn Bedding Signature Hybrid in medium. **Background:** I'm 5'4", 120 lbs, combination sleeper. I stressed over what firmness level to get and ended up choosing medium because it was recommended for combination sleepers, plus I'd slept on other people's firm foam/hybrid mattresses from other brands and they were way too hard for me so I thought medium was my best bet.

The quality of the mattress seemed good on initial opening of the box. It went down hill from there. It was considerably softer in the middle, pushing you away from the edge. Not too good with two people. And to top it off, it is an extremely hot mattress to sleep on.
