**Non-negotiable Items:**. Tent -- I recently got the Copper Spur HV UL2 as an upgrade from a 6lb camping tent and would rather spend money elsewhere. Sleeping bag -- If I had no other items to improve, I'd buy a quilt, but I don't think I'll have the money left over for it. Bear Spray -- I am more calm and enjoy the trip a lot more when I have the bear spray.

I got something, which fulfills some of the desires you have towards a your future tent. :). It has a different footprint but also with 2 vestibules (1 on each side for the 2p-version) is the Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL. I personally got the bikepacking version because of the shorter stems, but there is also a 'regular' version (at least when I bought it that was the lineup).

This is a great tent but I suggest doing your research before buying. For example this tent is designed for sleeping with your head facing towards the entrance/exit. Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL2 will do you well. They are great tents. Incredibly lightweight but pretty damn durable too. I have a 2 and 4 man version of them and they've held up better than any other tent I own for 8 years now.
