Benchmade Bailout

The benchmade bailout in m4. It doesn't have a designated seat belt cutter but it is knife and it deploys easily with one hand so I think that covers it pretty well. I love mine, it's light and durable with the aluminum scales.

One of my favorite non spydie knives is the Benchmade Bailout in M4 and Aluminum scales, but M4 is a carpenter steel and isn't great at corrosion resistance. If he's looking for a tool that won't care about sweat or rain or whatever, make sure it's a good stainless knife.

Benchmade Bailout would be my suggestion if you are interested in a Tanto blade. Classic EDC that also hits your pricepoint.

The bugout is a clear favorite for some good reasons. They also have beefier similar knives if you want something hardcore. Bailout and 940 a bit more though.

The Bailout is a pretty good Everyday Carry knife. It's lightweight, reasonably tough, and CPM-3V is a great steel for EDC as it is hard but also resistant to impact damage.
