I would go for the Benchmade 940-2. It is an EDC classic, and is completely ambidextrous. Plus Benchmade has the best warranty and is a known name for quality... a lot of people who aren’t “knife people” have still heard of Benchmade, and the 940 is one of their flagship knives.

After I lost it I tried carrying a benchmade 940. Great knife, but it didn’t help when I needed a screwdriver or pliers. Was going to replace with a Free K4, but realized I needed the pliers more than the scissors. But not much!
