Did you start out barely being able to run even a mile?
Oh and make sure you're running in suitable shoes. I use Adidas Adizero Bostons, they changed my view of running completely. Before I was running in shoes that I just thought looked like running shoes - big mistake.

Not even 400Km and they broke awfully!
Not even 400Km and they already broke, awfully!! Soles are OK and look like new, but the heels are a totally different story! Total disappointment for an Adidas pair of shoes, I should be reimbursed for this. Be carefull about this, and you might consider half or one size bigger, they run small (and...

Saucing Endorphin Pro
If you want something with underfoot firmness and a bit of a rocker and/or plate to make it both firm and inflexible, the Saucony Endorphin Shift, Adidas Boston 10, and Hoka Carbon X 2 are all in that category, with variances in weight/stiffness/aggressiveness/geometry. That should be a good few things to look into :).
Adidas Adizero Boston 10 Running Shoe TEST & REVIEW | RunnerClick
While 10 ounces isn’t the heaviest daily trainer out there on the market, it can feel a little clunky when compared back-to-back with the Boston 9. Long run shoe suggestions
Shoes that come to mind are the Endorphin Speed 1/2, Adidas Boston 10, Skechers Maxroad 5, Mizuno Wave Rebellion (new shoe, getting lots of positive reviews), New Balance Fuelcell TC, Puma Deviate Nitro, etc. Basically, the class of shoes 1 tier down from the top-end racers meaning they offer almost as much responsiveness but aren't quite as aggressive and are a bit more durable.
Great shoe
So far this is my second Boston 10. It could be the best shoe i ever had. I am prepping for my second marathon but ran at least 15 halfs before that. For any distance this shoe is good. It is vey light. It required some transitioning from old Boston series and boost shoes. It is also a goıd compsnio...

I think On are “getting what runners want”
These are softer than the adidas Boston 10 or Saucony ride 14s. Yes they do and have had very firm shoes, what in Europe is more appealing (not as much for me) but they will catch up with other brands very soon.
