16TB Sabrent Rocket XTRM-Q SSD

Received the 1TB model 5 days ago. I bought it because of the TB3 and USB3.0 connection feature. Initially it connected via TB3 to my Windows 10 Dell XPS15 laptop. I copied some files to test it. Seemed okay. But after restart the computer it will not connect via TB3. So this drive is useless to me....

The included Thunderbolt 3 cable has unreliable fluctuating data transfer speeds between 300-1800 Mbps and needs to be held just right to get the higher speeds. Purchased a Thunderbolt 4 cable from Cable Matters and consistently getting upwards of 2700 Mbps on the Blackmagic Disk Speed Test.

This drive is great. It seems as fast as the internal SSD on my MacBook M1 Pro. However, it gets very, very hot. It gets hot enough to burn skin. Once it gets hot enough I have to shut down my computer, or I'm pretty sure the external drive will fail.
