TP-Link EAP235-Wall vs Verizon FiOS G3100

Pay CLOSE attention to this unit, how it works, and what it does before you buy it!! 1) Omada interface / controller - as normal, great concept but total trash to implement. I de-registered the software, wiped the initial setup and started over rather than trying to mess with it (its only good for multipoint administration from a central location IMHO) - IE: I did the stand alone fallback mode through a web interface and fixed the problem (much simpler setup) 2) NOT a true "wireless mesh" unit. Only some (mostly omada) wireless networks will work with this thing. My "netgear" router and this unit would not work together for a wireless AP setup

Works as should and plug and play with Fios. We have Gaming going on and a lot of streaming going on with the cell phones and T.V and no issues so far. I have a gigabit connection and works like a charm

The ReoLink cameras support 5G and 2.4G WiFi (not simultaneously), but yet again, the signal continues to disappoint. This is still a pretty cool product, and it has applications (especially related to affordable outdoor mesh), but it certainly didn't accomplish what I was hoping it would.

I ordered this router to replace an old Actiontec router I’d been using for Fios for many years. The Actiontec worked fine with the exception of the signal not being strong in one room in my house. I hoped this router would solve that problem, and it did — this router does have stronger WiFi coverage than my old router. But, it drops the coax connection several times a day for no apparent reason
