This should no longer be an issue when I get my new receiver, but definitely a negative.

I’m elderly and it takes a long time to get it to come back on. I had a Visio before this one and it worked fine which is why I bought this one but now I’m done with vizio. I’m tired of spending time everyday to get it to turn on.

adjustment in picture,sound, motion clarity,action smoothing, color temp took awhile..UI is easy and the remote is great, just need to get rid of the netflix,disney,hulu,and sling shortcut buttons.

Now the deficiencies. The HDMI ports seem incredibly finicky. I had to use the old cable box on my 19" Dynex to get it to recognize the signal rather than the newer box I had just gotten. The newer box also works fine on my old Dynex

When you first turn it on, you have to pair the remote to the TV. The remote barely worked, I had to press the button 10 times to get it to do anything. It took me over 10 minutes to enter my email address. I even tried new batteries

The thing I dislike is the remote. I watch a lot of OTA programming and the remote doesn't have the option to get channel information.
