The Android UI, overall, is a pleasant experience, and offers most streaming apps that the average user will want. It doesn't offer quite the plethora of apps that Roku does, but overall, that's not a downside to me. Remote Control: Not much to say here other than that the remote is well laid out and your fingers quickly learn where to land to execute the desired function. Definitely an improvement over past Sony offerings

The thing I dislike is the remote. I watch a lot of OTA programming and the remote doesn't have the option to get channel information.

But I told him I didn’t have the box anymore. He said find a box and ship it back. I said I didn’t have one if I bought a replacement could I ss end it back in that ? He said yes so after more emails to Sony I gave up bought another , got it set it up and wow ! The pictures better and the sound bar stays on . My wife is happy and so am I

If you're a gamer and want something with some extra features, look into the Vizio M7 Series Quantum 2021. Its overall picture quality isn't as good as the Hisense U6G because it has worse local dimming and doesn't get as bright. However, gamers should enjoy its FreeSync VRR support to reduce screen tearing, and although it's limited to a 60Hz refresh rate, gaming still feels responsive thanks to its low input lag and quick response time. It also has an optional backlight strobing feature to reduce persistence blur, but it doesn't work well and causes image duplication

i bought an audio extractor, but it did not allow volume control with the TV remote using HDMI to the extractor and in turn optical and RCA red/white to the sound bar. I also tried the TV optical output direct to the sound bar. That does not work. So, Sony, find solutions!

Now the deficiencies. The HDMI ports seem incredibly finicky. I had to use the old cable box on my 19" Dynex to get it to recognize the signal rather than the newer box I had just gotten. The newer box also works fine on my old Dynex
