 So that's the complete r 9200 group set first impressions. Are that it's incredibly good at what it does the ergonomics seem excellent. The shifting is outstanding as ever there's plenty of scope to customize things, and the braking is really really good. If i have one more emotional reaction to this group set, it's that i'm a little bit disappointed that it's not more radical in some way, certainly on the aesthetic front, for example, it is not in any way bold

 That is most noticeable because it is just wow fast when you press that button right. Let'S talk about individual components of this group set believers are in many ways the most visually striking part of the group set and the biggest departure from previous designs. Previous shimano group sets had a fully exposed brake cleaver, but on the new design, everything above the pivot is hidden and there's a sort of shroud over the front of the lever. It looks more aerodynamic

 Although shimano has not embraced smaller cogs, they have tweaked things on the gearing slightly, and so the jumps between the gears are slightly different in the middle of the cassette. Otherwise, though the ranges are pretty standard, a typical setup for a ratio rider might be a 52 36 on the front and then an 11 to 30 at the back. All the new cassettes are compatible with existing 11 speed free hubs, but, as i mentioned before, they are also compatible with the new freehub that currently only appears on the very newest shimano wheels. Shimano says, incidentally, that an 11 to 30 cassette weighs 223 grams [ Music ] shimano has revamped the brake calipers for r 9200

 I am going to get into the specifics of every component on this bike, but before i do that, let's talk about what it's like to ride. Shimano set us up with this dogmath, which is pinnarello's latest greatest tour de france level, pro bike, and it's a pretty incredible machine and spoiler alert. While we haven't had this long enough to give a full review of dua race. Yet it's a pretty incredible group set

Best part about SRAM Eagle is that all the components work with each other. So you can always upgrade to NX, GX X01 or XX1 whenever you want piece by piece.  It’s all swappable.

So I have this bike on order. I'm definitely not a component expert by any means, but after some research I have determined that this set is bottom of the barrel with some really bad reviews. I even saw this set on a 2020  $1200  GIant Talon 29.

This bike isn't cheap, $3400CDN plus tax and shipping. And this is my first full suspension bike.

I know new bikes are covered under warranty, but am I overreacting?

Confused with Giant Trance X 29 3 components. SRAM SX Eagle

All SRAM Eagle parts are compatible so you can run a NX derailleur with a GX cassette and SX chain for example. If you want to keep the repair price down, go for another NX derailleur but if you see yourself upgrading your drivetrain in the near future, I would suggest getting the GX 1x11 derailleur now as it will last you longer and it's one last thing to upgrade when you're ready to upgrade the cassette.

However if I can't figure out if all my NX parts are compatible with GX.  a full GX setup is around 700 usd which is well outside my budget atm, and I would love to be back on my bike ASAP. 

what are the essential parts for swap from NX to GX? 

I'm not even sure if i'm asking the right questions, and local bike stores are unwilling to help since all of them claim many months of waiting for the parts without even quoting the price. Pains of living in a fairly flat country where most people ride city bikes.

Help buying new derailleur

I have a serious shifting problem, SRAM Eagle NX has a serious design flaw, a few reviews online have hinted at the problem, i do not recomend this product.
