Hands-on with the new Shimano Ultegra R8100 groupset – real weights and first impressions
Well, there you have it – the new Shimano Ultegra Di2 R8100 groupset. We’ll be sure to bring you a full review of the groupset once we have thoroughly tested it, so look out for that further down the line. In terms of cost, if you bought the components for a disc brake groupset separately at the recommended retail price, it would cost a grand total of £1,694

Dura-Ace Is Pointless | NEW Shimano Ultegra Di2 Groupset Review
Big brother, the shifts are accurate slick and smooth. The wireless connectivity brings more to the party than ever before, and the break-in is exemplary in every instance and then there's the cost. Integrity i2 comes in at 2, 328 pounds a full 1200 pounds cheaper than dual race when it boils down to it

FIRST LOOK SHIMANO ULTEGRA R8100 12-SPEED DI2 GROUPSET
The calipers are slightly wider on the the updated um version. I mean there's less chance of disc rub but also they've taken the sort of servo actuation of the mountain biking, grx system, meaning there's a much more positive, feel on the lever when you're braking all the way and then it's more graduated as well. So it's much much nicer feel when you're breaking hope you enjoyed our overview of the new shimano ultegra di2 12 speed group set

Shimano Ultegra R8100 Real Weights & First Impressions | Mechanical Ultegra Is Dead!
The 140 millimeter rotor weighs spot on 88 grams and the 160 millimeter rotor weighs spot on 108 grams. If you're a die-hard rim brake fanatic - and you want to upgrade to this group set - then there's no need to worry a shimano still has you covered the rim brakes themselves, look virtually identical to the outgoing r8000 ones, though, as do the shifters, which lack the new Shrouded design, it's also important to note that the system cannot be run semi-wirelessly in its rim brake form.
