You have to slide your thumb or finger around a good bit to find it when not looking. Also when you are holding the remote with the fatter part in your hand as you normally would the control ring and button do not fall intuitively under your thumb. They are a too far up. The volume and channel buttons are okay

The Android UI, overall, is a pleasant experience, and offers most streaming apps that the average user will want. It doesn't offer quite the plethora of apps that Roku does, but overall, that's not a downside to me. Remote Control: Not much to say here other than that the remote is well laid out and your fingers quickly learn where to land to execute the desired function. Definitely an improvement over past Sony offerings

TLDR; If you just want to turn on the TV, have it be in control and do whatever it does, you'll be fine. But if you step off the narrow path of Samsung-centric experience, you are in for a rotten time.

i bought an audio extractor, but it did not allow volume control with the TV remote using HDMI to the extractor and in turn optical and RCA red/white to the sound bar. I also tried the TV optical output direct to the sound bar. That does not work. So, Sony, find solutions!

- SOAP OPERA EFFECT ENABLED OUT OF THE BOX - Disable this! It ruins 4K movies! You can do your own research on this topic, but bottom line, this TV (like many competitors) automatically enables "motion smoothing technology" which might be OK for sports, but RUINS real 4K movies. But don't despair! Just disable LED Clear Motion in the Expert Settings, and the problem is solved. - Sound. The soundbar also, for whatever dumb reason, comes set up with "sound delay" which means moving mouths do not match the sound
