Great TV for the money, but watch for a pink screen

  One complaint on this is that some of the smart features are not excellent.  For example, on the remote, there are several buttons to open up Netflix/Prime/Disney+ etc. but there's no way to change where those buttons lead. So for someone like me, who uses Hulu more often than anything else, the only other direct option is to use the microphone, which frequently misunderstands me- as most voice activated things do

 Bumping up the color saturation basically matches OLED, but the gradients on OLED are a bit better, so bokeh looks more natural there.  One thing I like and don’t like are the smart features. Apps included actually outperform my Apple TV 4K first generation in image processing, but the apps themselves don’t use Airplay 2 to use apps like a remote to control with any Apple device. Alexa is cool and has more features than Google, but she’s not nearly as intelligent

 That’s the flaw with the remote. I keep pressing Amazon Prime instead of Home and TV Plus instead of Play. I like that’s it’s rechargeable and hands free capable, but it’s got too much stuff I’ll never use. And what’s the deal with the split view that can only watch YouTube or TV plus? When is that ever going to be necessary? If I could browse the web or use my pc while using my Apple TV or even let you use X-ray while watching Amazon Prime I’d use it

 This TV will be in a bright room where there’s glass all over behind and sunlight coming in all over, the smart brightness feature does an excellent job in keeping it at its best. Also love all the features that comes with this TV, specially ambient mode, I get compliments and people sometimes ask me if it’s a tv or a picture frame. Samsung TV is another great plus, a lot of great content and free movies. Overall I’m very satisfied with this Samsung LCD, it’s ergonomics really complements my home theater and takes it to the next level

 The only con is the remote that comes with this tv, too difficult to use, weird design, no key pads. I had to buy the regular remote at Samsung because I couldn’t get used to it, other than that everything else is great.

Great wow factor

  The only thing I am not a huge fan of is the interface for their smart tv setup. I am admittedly a user of Vizio tvs mostly, and with this being the first Samsung that I am using the Smart Tv interface on, its a big change. There is nothing wrong with it persay, just be mindful it does take getting used to.

 Well, the QN85A won't have crushed blacks, but it will have lifted blacks because it's an IPS panel. What happened Samsung? So let's talk about this QN85A. If you go and I've linked it below, I've linked the user groups, people with the QN85A and it's pretty much confirmed by the users and by our things that this year, the 2021 Samsung QN85A has way worse contrast ratios because it is an IPS panel at the 55 inch, at the 65 inch, at the 75 inch.
