Really wanted to like this sound bar but ended up returning it.

Sorry Vizio, I really wanted to fall in love with this sound bar but I ended up returning it. The major issue for me was the EXTREME volume of the sub woofer. Even on the very lowest setting the woofer volume was overwhelming. I spent hours on the internet reading about this problem and a good number of people are reporting the same issue

We tested this feature and found the sync went in and out, and for some reason we weren't able to cycle through the Sound options to correct the sync with the remote. Connecting an HDMI cable between the two components is a lot easier.Listening testsThe Samsung HW-MS650 doesn't require speaker setup or calibration, so once the cables were hooked up we were good to go. The HW-MS650 has a way with movie dialogue; it sounded natural and articulate, and overall clarity was impressive, but this sound bar doesn't do room-shaking bass or dish out big dynamics with gusto

Wonderfully-clear, loud, and fun Soundbar. Invest in the Surround and Sub-woofer, as well.

It even automatically set itself up for WiFi usage, based on the WiFi settings that are applied to your Samsung smart TV - a real handy feature. All I had to do was plug the HDMI into my TV, and plug in the power - it did the rest. Everything works through either the remote that came with the speaker (same as all Samsung TV remotes), or by using the SmartThings app your phone or tablet's app store (handy for when you can't find the remote). Great sound but a defective HDMI port and the bar cuts out after some period of inactivity.

Yesterday I called tech support and they walked me through a reset of both the TV and sound bar which helped in one fashion...when the soundbar turned off it aromatically turned on the TV speakers

Great Sound 4 the Price

For the price, you will not beat the sound quality or features. Presets sound well and it does what it can by itself for surround effects and does it remarkably well. I have a medium sized room and have actually turned down the bass. Speech is clear and setup was a breeze
