Ruger LCP 380 Review

 It just seems more solid when you're firing it and of course with the 10 to 12 rounds you've got a fairly decent capacity and still a really small firearm. I love that they've dovetailed the sights which gives you options. It's one of the things about the originals that the sights were fixed and there was no changing. And I think the geometry in the internals also has been improved just to give you better reliability

 And again we had that flat base plate very slick finish mag and then the gun is empty. Now with this firearm one of the big advantages to me over the standard LCP is is the last round bolt hold open. So once I fire it it's gonna hold open and it held open every time. So that gives you a lot of confidence

 The LCP line has been around for a long time and it's been proven. And now with the LCP Max and the advances in this system this is a great option especially for 380. And again we want to thank Ruger for sending the LCP Max for this review. Guys if you depend on a firearm for self defense it's really important that you don't go it alone

It's very small, little barrel, nothing to it,

 Let me take it apart real quick here while I'm kind of telling you about it. Now I'm going to double, triple check because I'm going to take it apart.  They do have an 11 capacity and the flat one I believe is also 11 only it is a little bit flatter so it doesn't give you as much of the grip here which is helpful because obviously the grip here is tiny on this compact gun. So let's put a few rounds through it and we will see what it can do now because this is a 3 inch barrel, obviously 9mm, fairly decent recoil from 9mm however because it is 3 inch I expect some jumpiness.  I think overall it is pretty good, the best part about this pistol is of course the capacity of the magazine, I mean there isn't really anything else on the market as compact as Hellcat with 13 capacity, 13 plus 1, so you have 14 rounds on you that you are carrying. Of course that adds up to the weight, but because it's a polymer frame it is definitely on the lighter side, so all the weight that you are getting from all these rounds in your magazine definitely kind of helps to balance. Alright let's do some more shooting, see if I can succeed a little bit more with that orange circle right there, I really want to so that I can be satisfied with my shooting skills for the rest of the day, it's very important to me. The last one and I am very happy with that shot

 So now you've got 14 rounds of 9mm in the gun. They have two versions, okay? The standard version, the Hellcat standard version, and then they have the OSP, optical sight pistol.  I haven't shot it as often as some of my other guns, but we're gonna get around to making sure that I am 100% on board and doing that correctly. It has an accessory rail, just the standard model accessory rail, even on a small gun, you can put a small laser or light on this thing and everybody and their brother is making holsters for this gun now. I happen to be carrying this one in a crossbreed most times, but it's been very popular. It's out there

 So just to make sure, safety first for everybody. Nothing in the magazine well, nothing in a visual and physical inspection of the chamber. So I can close this and nobody will leave any comments saying I was being unsafe. Here we go

 I love the weight. I love the size. It's a good little pistol that shoots well for us out on the range. So now we're giving away the free gun
